12 Ehret students participated in the 2016 Regional Science and Engineering Fair earning a $2000 grant for the school’s science program from the Patrick Taylor Foundation. The competition was held at UNO on February 23 & 24, 2016. Four students won individual awards. Congratulations to Crystal Roa, 4th place- Biochemistry; Destinee Rogers, 3rd place- Energy, Chemical; JoAnn Vu, Special Award, 1st place- Society for Toxicology, Biochemistry; and Tristyn Mussall, who won 3 awards: 3rd place – Material Science, 1st place- American Welding Society for Material Science, 1st place- NACE Corrosion Society Award for Best Understanding of Corrosion and Material Science. In addition to the award from NACE, Tristyn will receive an all expense trip to Cleveland, Ohio to attend the Engineering & Material science camp for 1 week this summer!
